Designed to bring cloud capabilities to a tactical environment, the Command Post Tactical Operations Server is a cost-effective, portable cluster optimized to provide a VM Ware Software Defined Network directly to the warfighter. What used to take 750 lbs of high-cost hardware can now be accomplished cost-effectively within a 56-lb transit case.

The Command Post Tactical Operations Server features 2 fully redundant internal servers powered by 16-Core Intel Xeon-D 1587 CPU with IPMI. Each server is equipped with 2x 10G ports and with 6x 10/100/1000 Mbs ports for high interconnectivity. The Command Post TacOps Server has a fully integrated Layer 3 Network Switch with 4x 10G SFP ports, 24x 10/100/1000 Mbs Ethernet ports, and 8x SFP 100/1000 Mbs Combo Fiber ports.

The Command Post TacOps Server is equipped with 8 eject-able SSDs that can be easily configured into a high performance RAID architecture, including RAID 5 and 6. With an internal hardware based VM Witness Appliance, the Command Post TacOps Server can address the growing demand for increased data throughput, scalability, and redundancy requirements across the tactical environment.
