Purpose-built for vehicle control, command centers, and secure comms, the Rugged Science MILSYNAPSE 4000 is a military-grade embedded computer engineered for compact deployment and ultra-reliable edge performance. Powered by up to 12-core Intel® Core™ Ultra processors with integrated AI acceleration via Intel® AI Boost, it’s ideal for mission-critical environments where size, thermal efficiency, and high-bandwidth I/O are essential. The system meets MIL-DTL and MIL-STD requirements and is designed for deployment in shock, vibration, EMI, and thermally intense settings.
Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra 7/5 Meteor Lake-U processors with up to 12 physical cores and integrated Intel® AI Boost, the MILSYNAPSE 4000 supports up to 48GB of DDR5 memory and one internal 2.5" SATA SSD with an accessible bracket for field maintenance. With support for Intel® vPro, TPM 2.0, TCC, and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), it offers secure, real-time processing for modern defense applications.
Designed for I/O versatility, the MILSYNAPSE 4000 includes dual 2.5G LAN with TSN, four 1G LAN ports, and two 1G SFP ports via pre-installed SUMIT expansion. It supports triple independent displays (HDMI 2.1 + 2x DisplayPort), three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports—including a 20Gbps USB-C with DisplayPort—two optional COM ports, and internal M.2 Key B and Key E sockets for wireless or cellular expansion.
Built with no moving parts, the MILSYNAPSE 4000’s fanless, solid-state design ensures silent operation and long-term dependability. Its compact chassis is engineered to perform in harsh conditions with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +65°C (-4°F to 149°F) and wide 9V–55V DC input power support.
The MILSYNAPSE 4000 offers a streamlined embedded form factor with high-performance I/O, onboard display outputs, and internal M.2 expansion options to support evolving mission needs. With accessible mounting points and CMOS battery access, it's built for in-field maintainability and lifecycle flexibility.
